Commodity Supplemental Food Program
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program is a monthly food distribution program for lower income citizens, seniors 60 & over, or women who are either pregnant or breastfeeding, women suffering from postpartum depression, and infants/children under the age of 6 years old who are not on the WIC program. Covering Grand Traverse, Benzie, Leelanau, Kalkaska, and Antrim Counties. Must provide total household income and age identification for each household member. Free Tax Prep for Low Income Residents
Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency offers free tax preparation at its office in Traverse City, Cadillac, and Petoskey, as well as the Michigan Works offices in TC, and the MI Dept. of Human Services Offices in Bellaire, Cadillac, Kalkaska, Roscommon, and West Branch.
